Abstract

International human rights law, as well as Syrian law, guarantee the right to peaceful demonstration, as one of the basic human rights, which can be exercised in multiple forms, closely related to other rights and freedoms, especially the right to freedom of opinion and expression, and the right to freedom of peaceful assembly. Exercising this right under international human rights law and Syrian law does not mean that it can be exercised without specific controls and conditions, and therefore this practice is subject to a range of conditions and controls, through which it is possible to balance the legitimate exercise of this right on the one hand, and maintaining security, peace and morals. public within the community.

Accordingly, this research deals with the study of the legal provisions regulating the exercise of the right to peaceful demonstration without exceeding the limits of legality in accordance with the provisions of international human rights law and Syrian law, following the comparative scientific method
